JuVee Productions highlights diverse voices in digital release of Emerging Artist Series.

Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA May 5th 13, 2017– JuVee Productions, a global and integrated production company created by Oscar and Emmy award-winning actress Viola Davis and producing partner Julius Tennon, has released a new digital production entitled Emerging Artist Series. The five-part series will highlight the stories of a diverse group of creatives working in various verticals of the entertainment industry. JuVee continues to execute on its mission to make premium quality, inclusive entertainment by introducing the industry to up-and- coming artists who may not ordinarily have a space to share their journeys and, in turn, providing insider’s advice and insight into their unique career paths.

The series was produced and directed by Lisa Nicole Bell. Drawing on her experience in documentaries and unscripted television, Lisa showcases the ups and downs of each artist’s journey through their stories and reflections. JuVee will release their ABC produced digital series American Koko this year, which wascreated by and stars Diarra Kilpatrick. JuVee’s short film Night Shift from writer/director Marshall Tyler premiered at Sundance Film Festival and is still touring the festival circuit. Both artists are featured as part of the series. Also featured are producing duo Steven Love and Blake Pickens (The Land) and VFX Producer Lauren Ellis (Ballers, Snowden, Fruitvale Station) of The Molecule.
